The Local Storehouse

At the office everything happens. One day a meeting will take place in the office and the next day Kim will be constructing some shelving for all the supplies we house there, some of which are listed below.

• Bags full of clothing
• Pens, pencils, rubbers, glues and scissors for the sponsored children’s school packs
• Sports clothes from UK Athletics
• Norwich City football kits
• String and pins (who knows what for but why not!?)
• Medicine
• Rice
• Maize
• Flour

We have also recently installed three brand new computers for the children to use at weekends and during holiday times. Kim’s wife Joyce is going to help the children learn a variety of computer skills to make full use of this great new resource.
When we opened the office at the beginning of last year it was always with the purpose to have somewhere central that the people of the community could come to and that we could function from, we wanted it to become a community hub. I believe this is exactly what it has become. Hopefully it will continue and with the building of the activity area later this year we are certainly doing what we can to serve this amazing community.
