Leaving a legacy.

Earlier this year a good friend and supporter of Doxa, Richard Gedge, lost his wife Katie to Motor Neurons disease. As Katie was a teacher and had a passion to help children realise their full potential, Richard donated the money given in memory of Katie to The Doxa Project.

As a direct result, we have just opened the Computer Studio at the back of the Doxa office in the slum. Three brand new desk top computers have been bought, and the room has been kitted out with new desks and seating. Kim’s wife Joyce will be responsible for teaching the children and young people the skills they need to use the computers.

We know that this will be an invaluable experience for the youngsters who would otherwise have no access to computers, and a life skill that we take for granted!

Thank you Richard.
